A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY
OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF KATELLA AVENUE AND HEATHER LANE
TO THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
(R/W 5180-85)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim acquired title to certain
property (hereinafter, the "Property") located at the northwest
corner of Katella Avenue and Heather Lane comprising
approximately 4,564 square feet, as more particularly described
in Exhibit A hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Property has been abandoned and is no
longer required for the purposes for which it was acquired; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has offered
to acquire the Property from the City for valuable consideration;
and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has agreed to
reserve to the City of Anaheim certain easements covering walls,
wall maintenance and subsurface footings over and upon the
Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Manager and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a Grant Deed,
designated as City Deed No, 10564, conveying the Property to the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29thday of October ,
2002.
