A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH ARTHUR
YOUNG AND COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH
THE REVIEW OF ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVE-
NESS OF THE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of consulting
services to provide a review of the organizational effectiveness
of the Utilities Department in order to improve the operation
through organizational or individual responsibility changes;
and
WHEREAS, Arthur Young and Company has the experience
and knowledge required to provide such services; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared whereby
Arthur Young and Company will provide such services; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said agreement
are acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 20th day of July, 1976.
