REGULAR MEETING OF NOVEMBER 3, 2015
The Anaheim Housing and Public Improvements Authority regular meeting was called to order on
November 3, 2015 at 5:17 P.M. in City Council Chambers located at 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. for a
joint public comment session with the Anaheim City Council, the Anaheim Housing Authority and
the Anaheim Public Financing Authority. The meeting notice, agenda and related materials were
duly posted on October 30, 2015.
PRESENT: Vice Chair Lucille Kring and Authority Members: Jordan Brandman, Kris Murray
and James Vanderbilt
ABSENT: Chairman Tait (excused)
STAFF: Paul Emery, City Manager, City Attorney Michael Houston and Secretary Linda
Andal

JOINT PUBLIC COMMENTS (with Anaheim City Council Anaheim Housing Authority and
Anaheim Public Financing Authority:
No public comments offered related to the Housing and Public Improvements Authority meeting.
2016 MEETING CALENDAR:
At 7:00 P.M., Vice Chair Kring requested the 2016 meeting calendar for all governing bodies be
amended with the following revisions: change March 8th to March 1st and May 24th to May 17th,
seconded by Authority Member Murray. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES — 4: (Vice Chair Kring and
Housing Authority Members: Brandman, Murray and Vanderbilt.) NOES — 0. ABSENT -1:
Chairman Tait. Motion Carried.
CONSENT CALENDAR: At 7:09 P.M. Authority Member Brandman moved to approve the
Housing and Public Improvements Authority consent calendar as amended (Item No. 3 was
amended to change the March 8th meeting date to March 1st and May 24th meeting date to May
17th), seconded by Authority Member Murray. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES — 4: (Vice Chair Kring
and Authority Members: Brandman, Murray and Vanderbilt). NOES — 0. ABSENT— 1: Chairman
Tait. Motion Carried.
3. RESOLUTION NO. AHPIA2015-001, A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF
HP1188 THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AND PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AUTHORITY establishing the
dates and time for regular meetings of the Authority for the 2016 calendar year.
Subsequent Actions on Meeting Calendar Dates took place at 7:36 P.M.:
MOTION; Authority Member Brandman moved to reconsider previous action on the 2016 meeting
calendar dates for all governing bodies, approved by Vice Chair Kring. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES
— 4: (Vice Chair Kring and Authority Members Brandman, Murray and Vanderbilt). NOES — 0.
ABSENT— 1: Chairman Tait. Motion Carried.

MOTION: Authority Member Brandman then moved to amend the 2016 meeting calendar dates for
all governing bodies by changing October 11th to October 18th, seconded by Vice Chair Kring.
ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES — 4: (Vice Chair Kring and Authority Members Brandman, Murray and
Vanderbilt. NOES — 0. ABSENT— 1: Chairman Tait. Motion Carried.
4. Approve minutes of Housing and Public Improvements Authority meetings of December 23,
HPI188 2014 and September 15, 2015.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, Vice Chair Kring adjourned the meeting of the
Anaheim Housing & Public Improvements Authority at 7:10 P.M.
