A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS,
LOCAL 47, (PART-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES)
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with officials and
employee representatives of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47;(Part-
Time Customer Service Employees) concerning a Letter of Understanding that amends
Appendix "A" Wages of the Memorandum of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47, (Part-
Time Customer Service Employees) is in agreement with the recommendations contained in
said Letter of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the best
interest of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated February 21, 2003, between the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47, (Part-Time Customer Service Employees) and the
City of Anaheim, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, is
hereby approved.

and the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47, (IBEW), representing the
Anaheim Part-Time Customer Service Employees, and the City of Anaheim (ANAHEIM) have met
and conferred in good faith and reached an understanding regarding employee wages. The
PARTIES have reached an understanding to amend the Memorandum of Understanding
between the Parties as follows:
IBEW and ANAHEIM agree that Appendix "A" Wages will be modified as follows to include
the classification of Part-Time Public Utilities Customer Service Representative III and to
reflect a 4% base wage increase effective ]anuary 3, 2003.

This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the PARTIES. No modification of this
Agreement shall be valid unless in writing and signed by the PARTIES. Any representation,
warranty, promise, or statement of information shall not bind the PARTIES unless it is specifically
set forth in this Agreement.
The PAR'I'~E$ to this Agreement have read this Agreement and are signing it voluntarily, with full
knowledge of its significance, acknowledging a full understanding of the contents contained
herein.
