A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM REAUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
WORKS TO EXECUTE ALL MASTER AGREEMENTS,
PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS, FUND
EXCHANGE AGREEMENTS AND FUND TRANSFER
AGREEMENTS AND/OR ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO
WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AS NECESSARY FOR ANAHEIM TO
RECEIVE FEDERAL AND/OR STATE FUNDING FOR
CERTAIN TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-055
WHEREAS, Anaheim is eligible to receive Federal and/or State funding for
certain transportation projects, through the California Department of Transportation ("Caltrans"),
and
WHEREAS, in order to receive such funding, Master Agreements, Program
Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements
and/or any amendments by and between Anaheim and Caltrans need to be executed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to delegate the authority to execute any and
all Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements and
Fund Transfer Agreements and/or any amendments thereto (hereinafter collectively the
"Agreements") to the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, Anaheim previously adopted Resolution No. 2007-055, delegating
the authority to execute the Agreements described above to the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans has asked that such Resolution be updated to reauthorize
the Director of Public Works to execute all Agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute all Agreements as
necessary for Anaheim to receive Federal and/or State funding for transportation projects
through Caltrans.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2007-055 shall be rescinded
upon the operative date of this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 4th day of April 2017.
