A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A CERTAIN DEED CONVEYING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN INTERESTS IN REAL
PROPERTY(CITY DEED NO. 12103).
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District ("District") has offered a
certain deed described in Exhibit "A" ("DEED") to the City of Anaheim (hereinafter, "CITY" or
"Anaheim"); and,
WHEREAS, through this_DEED,.the District will convey to Anaheim a two hundred
foot easement to relocate a water main for the sum of twenty-one thousand and five hundred dollars;
the location and property interests conveyed is further described in Exhibit "A"; and,
WHEREAS, the water main to be located in the area to be conveyed will improve
accessibility for field maintenance, improve water quality and service reliability; and,
WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, the Anaheim City Council does hereby find and
determine it is in the best interests of the CITY to accept the DEED.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The DEED is hereby accepted by the CITY for the sum of twenty-one
thousand and five hundred dollars and, in connection with the foregoing, the Mayor is authorized to
execute the DEED and the City Clerk is authorized to execute a certificate of acceptance attached to
it. Anaheim is authorized to pay the sum of twenty-one thousand and five hundred dollars for the
DEED and the interests therein.
2. Nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or
property into the CITY street system(Streets and Highways Code, Section 1806).
3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause the DEED to be recorded
in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 9th Day of May , 2017, by the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait and Council Members Vanderbilt, Murray, Barnes,
Moreno, Kring, and Faessel
