A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEED CONVEYING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OR
INTERESTS THEREIN.
WHEREAS, certain deed described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated by reference (hereinafter, the "DEED"), has been presented to the City of Anaheim
all as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the grantor, property interests conveyed, and location of the property
described in the DEED is set forth in Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property described in Exhibit "A" has agreed,
pursuant to a purchase and sale agreement with the City of Anaheim, to convey those property
interests set forth in Exhibit "A" to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby find and
determine that it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept the DEED.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the DEED described in Exhibit "A" be, and it hereby is accepted provided,
however, that nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property
into the City street system (Streets and Highways Code, Section 1806).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she hereby is,
authorized and directed to deliver the DEED to escrow to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Orange, in accordance with escrow instructions.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 2 3rd day of May , 2017, by the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait and Council Members Vanderbilt, Murray, Barnes,
Moreno, and Faessel
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Kring
ABSTAIN: None
