ORDINANCE NO, 2081
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING. -TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT -
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1312
Series 4--6_ in Reclassification No. 64-65-23 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a. change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon, -,in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anahei6 Municipal Code to consider --such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and

WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 6th day of

public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at t'e time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 64R-729 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the nTe m municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion (s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s) 64R-729
certain conditions and requirements wefe m
as con it ons precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
10 Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Tract No. 2688,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 95, Pages 3, 4
and 5 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California.
now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL
ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in ac-
dordance with approved plans on file in the Office
of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent
of Streets, prior to final building inspection.
2. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on file
with the City of Anaheim, marked "Exhibit No. 1";
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that the shape of the structures
shall be redesigned to provide for a 10 -foot minimum
landscaped setback along State College Boulevard
and a 5 -foot minimum setback along Virginia Avenue.
3. That all air conditioning facilities shall be pro-
perly shielded from view from abutting streets.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated --in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City En-
gineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to
be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The
City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published an&. -
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force, -
