2074 ORDINANCE NO. 2074 111/1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore, to wit, on January 21, 1957, hold a public hearing in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider a proposed change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find- ings and summaries of its hearing and did refer the matter of said proposed change of zone or zones to the City Council with- out recommendation, due to the fact that a motion to reclassify a portion of the property hereinafter described did not carry; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said report of findings and summary of evidence from the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 26th day of February, 1957, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu- nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the report of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolutions Nos. 3702 and 64R-820, finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu- tions; and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolutions Nos. 3702 and 64R-820, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 1110 SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the -1- 56-57-39 boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes 111/1 as follows: That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: The East half (E%) of the Northeast quarter (NE3/4) of the North- east quarter (NES) of Section 17 , Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M. (Said property is situated on the west side of Euclid Street between Lincoln Avenue and Broadway.) now is R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That a 25-foot minimum rear yard building setback shall be maintained where commercial property abuts residential property. 2. That a 35-foot minimum building setback shall be maintained along Lincoln Avenue. 3. That a 6-foot minimum building setback shall be maintained on Euclid Street and Broadway. 4. That a 6-foot masonry wall shall be constructed and maintained between the commercial and residential_ praperties . 5 . That there shall be no two-story construction within 150 feet of abutting single-family residential areas. SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage Of-this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
