ORDINANCE N0. 2071 A1110 N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14. 24, SECTION 14.24.080 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARADES
ON STREETS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That Title 14, Chapter 14. 24, Section 14. 24.080 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 14. 24.080 PARADES ON STREETS--PERMIT
REQUIRED--REGULATION-- 'PARADE'
DEFINED.
"It shall be unlawful for any person, firm,
association or corporation to have, hold or
conduct on or along any public street within
the City of Anaheim, any parade without first
obtaining a permit therefor from the Chief of
Police of the City of Anaheim. Any parade so
authorized to be held or conducted by said
Chief of Police shall be held and conducted
in accordance with rules and regulations estab-
lished
by the Chief of Police, and under his -
supervision. -
"The word 'Parade' as used in this Title is
defined to mean any procession of two or more
vehicles or two or more persons moving on or
along a public street, other than a cross walk,
for the purpose of ostentatious display or show
or for the purpose of advertising any show,
exhibition, game or any goods , wares , or
merchandise. "
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage-of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed owe w-itb±xr. :,:.
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheatii Dune ;kx,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from: 2nd after_`
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full.`force.

same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 24th day of November, 1964, by the

AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pebley, Dutton, Schutte and Chandler
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Krein
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2071 on the 24th
day of November, 1964.
