AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING -TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT -
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 241 --
Series 1959-60 in Reclassification No. 59-60-53 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Ana eim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anahei6 Municipal Code to consider -such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 17th day of
May 119 60 , as the time, and the Counci-f-Chamber
in the
City Hall of-TE—eCity of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at to time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 6016finding
and determining that Title 18 of the na eim Munzcipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion (s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s) 6016
certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zongs have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1.

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The West 100 feet of the East 52.4 feet of the
North 288 feet of the Northwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of
Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 11 West,
S.B.B. & M.
Excepting therefrom the South 36 feet of the
North 66 feet;
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following condition:
(a) That all engineering requirements of the City
of_Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street_ grading and paving, drainage facilities, or
other appurtenant work be complied with as required
by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of the
City =Engineer; and (b) that a bond in an amount and
form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim be posted
with the City to guarantee the installation of said
engineering requirements.
SECTION 2.
The City .Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
azi& ded, a=id the property above described shall be excluded

said City ning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of October . 1964.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 2062 was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 20th day of October, 1964, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 27th day of October, 1964, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pebley, Dutton and Chandler
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Schutte and Krein
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2062 on- the
27th day of October, 1964.
