ORDINANCE NO. 2053
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1137
Series 1963-64 in Reclassification No. 63-64-104 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and.did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 19th day
of 14ay , 19 64 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 64P,-388 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 64R-388
, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or.changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
Lot 10 of the Fairhome Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof
recorded in book 8, page 53, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County;
EXCEPT the southwesterly 100 feet thereof.
now is R-2, TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That the damaged and/or hazardous sidewalks along Wal-
nut Street shall be repaired as required by the City
Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and
specifications on file in the Office of the City En-
gineer, prior to final building inspection.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accor-
dance with approved plans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets,
prior to final building inspection.
3. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit,
to be used for park and recreation purposes, said
amount to be paid at the time the building permit is
issued.
4. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on file
with the City of Anaheim, marked "Exhibits Nos. I and
2."
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map -to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passagP -cif -this--
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once-witht;i—
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaho.r., _B91-i:-et1_11 ,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, publi'she .::and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from -and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 2053 was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 29th day of September, 1964, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 6th day of October, 1964, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pebley, Dutton, Schutte, Krein and Chandler.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No: 2053 on the 6th
day of October, 1964.
