A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DEDICATING CERTAIN CITY -OWNED
PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET AND UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner, in fee title of certain property located
generally at the northeast corner of Zeyn Street and Katella Avenue; address 131 West Katella
Avenue, Assessor Parcel Number: 082-432-14; and,
WHEREAS, Katella Avenue is a street having a half -width of sixty-three feet where
said street abuts the property of the City of Anaheim; and,
WHEREAS, the General Plan of the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Specific Plan
contemplate Katella Avenue to be widened an additional nineteen feet on the north side in the
portion of Katella Avenue abutting the City -owned property; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim and the public generally to
widen Katella Avenue to the dimensions and capacity shown on the General plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby dedicates that
certain City -owned property described in Exhibits A and B attached hereto and incorporated by
this reference herein for public road and utility purposes provided; however, that nothing herein
shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street system
(Streets and Highways Code, Section 1806).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk be, and she hereby is, authorized
and directed to record this resolution in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of
Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 5th day of December , 2017, by the following roll call vote:
