A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF AN EMERGENCY
ACCESS EASEMENT LOCATED AT 1541-1551 E. WRIGHT
CIRCLE, PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA STREETS AND
HIGHWAY CODE SECTION 8330, ET SEQ. - SUMMARY
VACATION. (ABANDONMENT NO. ABA2017-00367)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has received a request from an applicant for the
vacation of a portion of an emergency access easement within the boundaries of Tract Map No.
16831, Anaheim, CA, in order to clear title to the land to allow for the development of a residential
project within the Platinum Triangle; and
WHEREAS, there are no public utilities in place which would be affected by the
vacation; and
WHEREAS, the emergency access easement to be vacated is not required for present
or prospective public road or public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that certain portion of an emergency access easement at
1541-1551 E. Wright Circle, as described on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein,
which portion was accepted by Resolution 2013-050, recorded April 3, 2013 as Instrument No.
2013000199876, Official Records of Orange County, CA.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution shall
not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and is hereby, authorized and
directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date the certified copy of this
Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange, the vacation shall be
complete and the Emergency Access Easement vacated shall no longer constitute a public service
easement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 1 9tWay of December , 2017, by the following roll call vote:
