AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 938
Series 1963-64 in Reclassification No. 63-64-42
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change of
zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein;.and
WHEREAS; said City Planning Commission did make findings,
and a summary of its hearing, and did recommend denial of a change
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 19th day of
November , 1963 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of tz-fie City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 64R-109 , finding and
determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim nicipal ode should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said resolution(s), certain
conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to
the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows-.

PARCEL 1: Lot 20 of Tract No. 787, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
per map recorded in book 24 page 9 of Miscellaneous
. Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County.
PARCEL 2: That portion of Lot 1 in Block A of
Tract No. 787, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded
in book 24 page 9 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, which
lies southerly of the westerly prolongation of the
northerly line of Lot 20 of said Tract No. 787.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AG ICUL^JURAL ZONE and that it be
changed to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESI-
DENTIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans and specifications
on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibits
No. 1 (Revision No. 1), 2, 3, 4 and 5, as amended
and applicable to single -story structures.
2. That the structural height limitation of one-story
within 150 feet of R-1, One -Family Residential
Zone property shall be maintained.
3. That tree wells shall be provided at approximately
40 -foot intervals in the Ball Road parkway abutting
subject property; that plans for said treeuells and
the plantings therein shall be submitted to and
approved by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance;
and that said tree wells shall be planted with trees
prior to final building inspection.
4. That a 6 -foot masonry wall, or its equivalent, shall
be constructed along the north and west property
lines, prior to final building inspection.
5. That a bond in an amount and form satisfactory to
the City of Anaheim shall be posted with the City
to guarantee the construction of a 6 -foot masonry
wall along the east property line, which bond
shall be posted prior to final building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning
map to be added to the City Zoning Map and inserted in the
Anaheim Municipal Code showing the changes hereby approved and
• adopted,
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,

a newspaper of general' circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
• its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force,
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 25thday of August , 19 64 .
