AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT -
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1216 --
Series 1963-.64.-.---.� in Reclassification No. 63-64-141 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Ana eim Municipa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon=in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 21st day of
July 19 64 as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall oft` Ee�City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at tie time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 64R-535 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion (s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s) 64R-535
, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
4D to wit:
That portion of the East half of the Northeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
said Section is shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the East line of said
Section 7, with the Southwesterly line of the Southern
Pacific Railroad right of way; thence Southerly along
said East line, to the Northeast corner of the Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 7; thence
West along the North line of said Southeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of said Section 7 to the Southeast
corner of Lot 97, Tract 1202, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 37, page 28 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County; thence Northerly along the Easterly
line of said Tract 1202 to said Southwesterly line of
the railroad right of way; thence along said South-
westerly line South 570 13' 30" East to the point of
beginning.
Excepting those portions thereof conveyed to the State
of California by deed recorded June 14, 1950 in Book
2027, page 126 of Official Records, lying within the
right of way of Sequoia Avenue and by deed recorded
February 25, 1955 in Book 2973, page 60 of said
Official Records, lying within the right of way of
Brookhurst Street.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim along Sequoia Avenue and Brookhurst Street,
such as curbs and gutters, street grading and
paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant
work shall be completed as required by the City
Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications to be prepared by the City of
Anaheim.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 15,r,% per front foot
along Brookhurst Street and Sequoia Street, for
tree planting purposes.
3. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets.
4. That all of the above conditions shall be complied
with prior to the issuance of any future building
permit.

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within.
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
