2026• ORDINANCE NO. 2026 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL, CODE RELATING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution in each of the hereinafter numbered reclassifications, recommending amendments to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and changes in the boundaries of the zones hereinafter mentioned and de- scribed, after having held public hearings thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed changes of zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find- ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend changes of zones as set forth in said resolutions; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolutions, reports of findings, summaries of evidence and recommendations of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 21st day of July, 1964, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for public hearings upon said proposed amendments to Title 18 of the Anaheim Munici- pal Code and changes of zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided'in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the.time and place fixed for said public hearings,the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear- ings and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there- upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commis- sion, and did adopt a resolution in each reclassification proceeding, finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and that changes in the bounda- riesof said zones should be made as set forth in said resolutions. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such changes as follows: That all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particu- larly.hereinafter described under separate reclassification -1- numbers, be changed from the zones rated to the zone indicated for the reclassification. Said property is follows: RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-126 in which it is now incorpo- specific area under each described and designated as The East 202 feet of the Southeast quarter of the South- east quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 15, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. Excepting therefrom the North 473.26 feet. Also excepting therefrom that portion dedicated for road and public utility purposes lying within the right of way of Orange Avenue and Knott Avenue as conveyed to the City of Anaheim in deed recorded June 20, 1962, as Document Number 15727 in Book 6151, page 827 of Official Records. That said property be changed from R -A, RESIDENTIAL - AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-127 The South 183 feet of the East 183 feet of the South- east quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. Excepting therefrom that portion dedicated for road and public utility purposes lying within the right of way of Ball Road and Knott Avenue, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim in deed recorded May 24, 1961 as Document Number 16709 in Book 5732, page 689 and deed recorded January 3, 1962 as Document Number 1371 in Book 5963, page 565 of Official Records, That said property be changed from C-3, HEAVY -COMMERCIAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-128 All that certain land situated in Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 11 Vest, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscel- laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 22, thence Westerly along the North line of said Section to a point in the Northeasterly line of the 100 foot right of way of Pacific Electric Railway; thence South 530 47' 30" East along the Northeasterly line of said right of way to an intersection with the Northerly line of the land conveyed to the Pacific Electric Railway Company by deed recorded February 29, 1912 in Book 209, page 382 of Deeds records of said Orange County; thence North 890 20; 30" East along said is Northerly line and the Easterly extension thereof 74.99 feet to the East line of said Section; thence North along said East line 130.55 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom that portion dedicated for road and public utility purposes lying within the right of way of Ball Road and Knott Avenue, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim by deed recorded May 29, 1962 as Document Number 22750 in Book 6126, page 946 of Official Records of said Orange County. That said property be changed from R -A, RESIDENTIAL - AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-129 All that certain land lying within the South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map re- corded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter, 340.05 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing Northerly along said Westerly line of said South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter to the Northerly line of said South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter; thence Easterly along the said Northerly line, 296 feet; thence Southerly, parallel with the Westerly line of the South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter, 144.6 feet; thence Westerly parallel with the Northerly line of said South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter, 230 feet to a point 66 feet Easterly of the Westerly line of said South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter; thence Southerly parallel with the Westerly line of said South half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter, 180 feet; thence Westerly parallel to the said Northerly line, 66 feet to the true point of beginning. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-130 The Southerly 175 feet of the Easterly 163 feet of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on -3- a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous 10 Maps, records of Orange County, California. Excepting therefrom that portion dedicated for road and public utility purposes lying within the right of way of Lincoln Avenue, as conveyed to the State of California by deed recorded March 16, 1956 in Book 3438, page 502 of Official Records of said Orange County. Also excepting therefrom that portion dedicated for road and public utility purposes lying within the right of way of Western Avenue, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim by deed recorded June 23, 1959 as Document Number 100155 in Book 4770, page 106 of Official Records of said Orange County. That said property be changed from C-3, HEAVY -COMMERCIAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL ZONE. Also excepting therefrom that portion dedicated for road and public utility purposes lying within the right of way of Western Avenue, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim by deed recorded July 26, 1957 as Document Number 98482 in Book 3987, page 376 of Official Records of said Orange County. That said property be changed from R -A, RESIDENTIAL - AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-11, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. Excepting therefrom those portions dedicated for road and public utility purposes lying within the right of way of Ball Road and Knott Avenue as conveyed to County of Orange by deed recorded November 21, 1956 as Document Number 155729 in Book 3719, page 23 of Official Records of said Orange County. That said property be changed from R -A, RESIDENTIAL - AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-134 The North 190 feet of the Nest 190 feet of the North- west quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-135 The North 200 feet of the East 190 feet of the North- east quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. Excepting therefrom the North 50 feet and the East 40 feet dedicated for road and public utility pur- poses lying within the right of way of Ball Road and -5- • 0 Western Avenue, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim by deed recorded April 3, 1957 in Book 3860, page 114 of Official Records of said Orange County, as Document Number 44191. That said property be changed from C-3, HEAVY -COMMERCIAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-136 The South 150 feet of the East 165 feet of the South- east quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M. Excepting therefrom the Southerly 40 feet lying within the right of way of Lincoln Avenue. Also excepting therefrom the Easterly 40 feet lying within the right of way of Gilbert Street, dedicated for road and public utility purposes, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim by deed recorded October 19, 1956 as Document Number 141201 in Book 3684, page 230 of Official Records of Orange County, California That said property be changed from R -A, RESIDENTIAL - AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-137 Lot 29 of Tract 403, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 16, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. Excepting therefrom the Northerly 36 feet lying within the right of way of Lincoln Avenue. That said property be changed from R -A, RESIDENTIAL - AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-138 Lot 30 of Tract 403, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 16, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. Excepting therefrom the Northerly 36 feet lying within the right of way of Lincoln Avenue. That said property be changed from R -A, RESIDENTIAL - AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE. i SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above"described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within` fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
