AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING_TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 91
Series 1959-60 in Reclassification No. F-59-60-39
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Ana eim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon -in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheiji Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 8th day of
December , 1959 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the Cly Hall o t—ie—City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 57.2 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Ana eim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion (s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s) 5742
, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making,of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zonos have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim Extension, in the City
of Anaheim, state of California, County of Orange,
according to the map of surveys made by William Hamel,
acknowledged by Alfred Robinson, trustee, and on file
in the office of the County -Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the center line of
Placentia Avenue with the center line of the right of
way of the Anaheim Union Water Company, a corporation,
as said right of way was established by a judgment of
the Superior Court of the State of California, in and
for the County of Orange, in an action entitled "Anaheim
Union Water Company, a corporation, Plaintiff, vs.
H. F. H. Schneider, et al., Defendants", and being case
No. 6468, a certif-l_ed copy of said judgment being recorded
in book 281, page 126, Deeds, records of said Orange
County, and running thence North 00 07' 25" East along
said center line of Placentia Avenue, 91.5 feet to the
true point of beginning of the boundary of the land
herein described; thence South 81° 43' 25" West parallel
with the center line of said right of way of the Anaheim
Union Water Company, a corporation, 156 feet; thence
North 0° 07' 25' East, parallel with said center line of
Placentia Avenue, to the Southerly line of the land con-
veyed to J. F. Burgess and wife, by deed recorded July 9,
1948, in book 1666, page 467, Official Records, in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
thence North 74° 33 10" East along said Southerly line
to an angle point therein; thence North 790 02' 55" East
89.00 feet to said center line of Placentia Avenue; thence
South 00 36' 25" East along said center line, 158.5 feet
to the true point of beginning.
now is R-1, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that 1t be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMRCIAL
ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That any sign erected on subject property shall con-
form to and comply with the provisions of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.
2. That said property be developed in accordance with
the proposed plans of development submitted to the
City Council and on file with the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map and inserted in the Anaheim
Municipal Code showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Gazette,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of August , 1964.
