A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS LOCAL 47
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers, Local 47 have met and conferred and reached an understanding to incorporate
the classification of Part -Time Senior Customer Service Representative in the existing
Memorandum of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 is in
agreement with the recommendation contained in said Letter of Understanding
representing Anaheim Part -Time Customer Service Employees; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the Letter of Understanding dated January 24,
2018 between the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the
best interest of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated January 24, 2018 between the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 and the City of Anaheim, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference herein, is hereby
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 61h day of February, 2018 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait and Council Members Moreno, Murray,
Vanderbilt, Barnes, Kring, and Faessel

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
between the
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD of ELECTRICAL WORKERS and the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
This International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 (IBEW) and the City of Anaheim
(ANAHEIM) have met and conferred and reached an agreement regarding the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) between Anaheim and the IBEW representing Anaheim Part -Time
Customer Service Employees. The Parties hereby agree to the following:
(1) The PARTIES agree that the Part -Time Senior Customer Service Representative
classification will be incorporated into the MOU between ANAHEIM and the IBEW
representing Anaheim Part -Time Customer Service Employees and the terms and
conditions of employment specified within the aforementioned MOU will apply to the
Part -Time Senior Customer Service Representative classification.
(2) The classification of Part -Time Senior Customer Service Representative will be added to
the classifications in Appendix "A" of the MOU between ANAHEIM and the IBEW
representing Anaheim Part -Time Customer Service Employees, and Appendix "A" will
be modified to include the following:
