ORDINANCE NO. 2012
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 543 --
Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-41 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Ana eim Municipa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon -in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim" Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 2nd day of
Janua-r , 19663 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the CHy�l of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-13 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the naheim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion (s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s) 63R-13
, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the prop-
erty hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Lot 18 of Tract No. 483, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 17, Page 20 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as deter-
mined and required by the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department,
which areas shall be enclosed by a solid fence or
wall prior to final building inspection.
2. That subject property shall be developed in accord-
ance with plans approved by the City Council
incorporating the removal of the residential
structures, if any, and replacement with commercial
buildings, in accordance with all applicable
provisions contained herein and all applicable
provisions contained in Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.
3. That a 60 -foot building setback from the planned
highway right-of-way line of La Palma Avenue shall
be established for subject property.
4. That tree wells shall be provided in the parkway
portion of La Palma Avenue, spaced at approximately
40 -foot intervals; that plans for said landscaping
shall be submitted to and approved by the Superin-
tendent of Parkway Maintenance, and that said
landscaping shall be installed prior to final
building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
-� a newspaper of general ciruclation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
held on the 16th day of June, 1964, and that the same was passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on
the 30th day of June, 1964, by the following vote of the members
thereof:

AND I FURTHER'. CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
