ORDINANCE NO. 2001
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1004,
Series 1963=64. in Reclassification No. 63-64-64 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Ana eim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 28th day
of January , 19 64 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 o.f.the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 64R-53 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 64R-53
'certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
That portion of the southwest quarter of the south-
west quarter of Section 17, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, city
of Anaheim, California, as shown on a map
recorded in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said
Section 17, and on the center line of Brookhurst
Street, said point being distant North 0° 40' 06"
East 913.17 feet along said west line from the
southwest corner of said Section 17; thence
from said point of beginning easterly at right
angles 280.00 feet; thence southerly at right
angles 232.00 feet; thence westerly at right
angles 280.00 feet; thence northerly at right
angles 232.00 feet along said west line of said
Section 17 to the point of beginning.

now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONA, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD�'COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans and specifi-
cations on file with the City of Anaheim, marked
"Exhibit No. 1," as amended herein; PROVIDED,
HOWEVER, that a 10 -foot setback shall be
maintained along Brookhurst Street, and that
the sign indicated shall not be considered
a part of this exhibit.
2. That a 10 -foot strip of land, where adjacent
to buildings, and a 3 -foot strip of land,
where adjacent to parking areas, shall be
landscaped and said landscaping maintained
on the Brookhurst Street and Brookmore Avenue
frontages as indicated on Exhibit No. 1 on
file with the City; that plans for said
landscaping shall be submitted to and
approved by the Superintendent of Parkway
Maintenance; and that said landscaping shall
be installed prior to final building inspection.

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
Is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within`
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and,after
Its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
