. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 4, CHAPTER 4.05 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO BENCHES.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1•
That Title 4, Chapter 4.05 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto at the
beginning of said Chapter a new section numbered 4.05.009 to read
as follows:
"Section 4.05.009.
"That wherever the title 'Chief of Police' shall
ofpear in Parkwaythis Chapter I title
'Superintendent
Maintenance shallbesubsituted."
SECTION 2•
It is the intention of the City Council that when the
amendment made by this ordinance is printed for incorporation in
the Anaheim Municipal Code that said new Section 4.05.009 be
deleted, but that the changes accomplished thereby be physically
changed in the appropriate sections of Chapter 4.05.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shallcause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of May, 1964.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 5th day of May, 1964, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 12th day of May, 1964, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pebley, Dutton, Schutte, Krein and Chandler
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN : Norte
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1998 on the
12th day of May, 1964.
