ORDINANCE NO. 1993
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 4, CHAPTER 4.241, SECTIONS 4.24.070-
AND
.24,070AND 4.24.090 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO POOL ROOMS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OY-ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 4, Chapter 4.24, Section 4.24.070 of the
_Anaheim Municipal Code, be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 4.24.070. PERSONS UNDER 18 THEREIN --RESTRIC-
TED. -
No person or persons under the age of eighteen years
shall bepermitted to enter or remain in any pool
room between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M.
of any day, except when such persons are supervised
by a recognized youth organization, or accompanied
by their_parents or legal guardians."
SECTION 2.
That Title 4, Chapter 4.24, Section 4.24.090 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION`4.24.090. HOURS OF OPERATION. All pool
rooms, except pool rooms or pool tables operated in
conjunction with bowling alleys, shall be closed and
cease all business, playing and games between the
hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. of each day." -
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of May, 1964.

same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 5th day of May, 1964, by the

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMENr. None
AND I -FURTHER CERTIFY that the-Mayox of -the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1993 on the 5th day
of May, -1964.
