1980ORDINANCE NO. 1950 • AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1947 IN RECLASSIFICATION PRO- CEEDINGS NO. 62-63-130. • THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Council did, on December 3, 1963, adopt Ordinance No. 1947 in Reclassification Proceedings No. 62-63-130 changing the property therein described from R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, subject to certain conditions therein set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Council did receive a request to amend said ordinance by eliminating therefrom Condition No. 4; and WHEREAS, the City Council did, on March 10, 1964, hold a public hearing to consider a variance to Condition No. 4 of Ordinance No. 1947,. after having given notice thereof in the manner and as provided in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council did at said hearing give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and does find that Condition No. 4 of said ordinance should be amended. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1947 in Reclassification Proceed- ings No. 62-63-130 be, and the same is hereby amended by amending Condition No. 4 thereof to read as follows: "4. That plans for any signs, flags, banners or displays, visible from State College Boulevard and Sycamore Street (with the exception of one unlighted sign of a maximum size of eight square feet, which shall be permitted as a matter of right), shall be submitted to and approved by the City Council." SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and -1- 62-63-130 0 9. circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
