ORDINANCE NO. 1974
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING -
TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.04, SECTION 1.04.380 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO
EXPENSE ALLOWANCES._
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE -CITY -OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1•
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Section 1.04.380 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the sate is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 1.04.380 EXPENSE ALLOWANCES --PLANNING
COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL
MEMBERS.
"There shall be allowed to each member -of the Planning
Commission, except ex -officio and advisory- members,
the sum of twenty dollars per official meeting
attended by said member, not to exceed one meeting
per week, and there -shall be allowed to each member
of the City Council the sum of twenty -five -dollars
per official meeting attended by said member, not to
exceed one meeting per week, and in addition thereto
there shall be allowed an additional sum of twenty-
five dollars to the councilman designated as mayor.
Said allowances are authorized to reimburse said mem-
bers for expense of attending meetings, traveling to
and from their usual place of business to said meet-
ings, traveling to and from property under consi-deration
for action by the respective body of which they are -
members, and all other expenses connected with_ ttie4er-
formance of their duties as commissioners or--CQUh .lmen.
It is recognized that the councilman acting as mayor
will have additional expenses by reason of official
appearances for the City not ordinarily incurred by
other council members. The expenses authorized here-
under need not be accounted for by the recipients,
but no other expenses shall be allowed except upon
specific authorization therefor by the City Council."
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this,
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed -6&e withizz
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim. Bulle in,-�=
a newspaper of general circulation, rinted, pub dished and`"fr-
culated in said City, and thirty (305 days from a--aftex its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force:_

I, DENS M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1974 was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 25th'day of February, 1964, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 3rd day of March, 1964, by the following
vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Dutton, Chandler, Schutte -and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT:COUNCILMEN: Krein
AMID I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1974 on the 3rd day
of March, 1964.
