ORDINANCE NO. 1973
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 853 --
Series 1963-64 in Reclassification No. 63-64-12 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and

WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 27th day
of August , 19 63 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-763 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
63R-763 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit: .
PARCEL 1.
The west 197.00 feet of lot 15 of the Orangewood Tract,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in book 7, page 42 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County.
EXCEPT that portion thereof lying South of a line parallel
with and North 990.00 feet from the south line of lot 10
of said Orangewood Tract, measured along the West line of
said lots 10 and 15.
PARCEL 2:
Those portions of lots 10 and 15 of the Orangewood
Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, as per map recorded in book 7, page 42 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County, described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said lot 10,
distant northerly 440.00 feet from the southwest corner
of said lot; thence northerly 550.00 feet along the west
line of said lots 10 and 15; thence easterly parallel with
the south line of said lot 10 to the intersection of said
parallel line with the east line of the west half of said
lot 15; thence southerly along said East line to the south
line of said lot 15; thence easterly along said south line
to the northwest corner of Tract No. 2748, as per map
recorded in book 93, pages 30 and 31 of said Miscellaneous
Maps; thence southerly along the westerly boundary of said
Tract No. 2748 to the intersection of said westerly
boundary with the north line of the south 220.00 feet
of said lot 10: thence westerly along said North line to
the west line of the east 495.00 feet of said lot 10;
thence northerly along said west line to the north
line of the south 440.00 feet of said lot 10; thence
westerly along said northerly line to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPT that portion of the North 15.00 feet lying easterly
of the westerly 197.00 feet thereof.
PARCEL 3:
The North 220.00 feet of the south 440.00 feet of lot
10 of the Orangewood Tract, in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in book 7, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
EXCEPT the east 495.00 feet thereof.

now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in R-2, TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 -per dwelling
unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes,
said amount to be paid at the time the building
_permit is issued.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the Office
of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent
of Streets, prior to final building inspection.
3. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans and specifications
on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibits
Nos. 1 through 11. ,
4. That a six-foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the east and south property lines, prior to
final building inspection.
SECTION.2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated
in and made a part of the zone. -or zones as above set forth,
and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and_
the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional-
zoning
ectionalzoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the
changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and
after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full
force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 25th day of February, 1964, and that the same
was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City
Council held on the 3rd day of March, 1964, by the following
vote of the members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Krein
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
