1971ORDINANCE NO. 1971 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT- ING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 935 -- Series 1963-64. in Reclassification No. 63-64-47 , recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find- ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 19th day of November , 19 63 , as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear- ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there- upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-919 , finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu- tion(s); and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 63R-919 , certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows: - 1 - 63-64-47 That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, ;Mate of California, described as follows, to wit: • A portion of Lot A, Tract No. 2757, as shown on a Map recorded In Book 108, pages 28 and 29 of Mis- cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and a portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey by William Hamel, a copy of which is shown in Book 3, pages 162 to 164 inclusive of t7Los Angeles County Maps" in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California; described as follows: • Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of said Lot 25 with the Westerly prolonga- tion of the Northerly line of said Lot A; thence North 74° 28' 11" Last along the Northerly line of said Lot A a distance of 1047.89 feet; thence South 15° 28' 09" East 1.00 feet; thence North 740 28' 11" East 98.65 feet to the Westerly line of land described in a deed to the Southern Pacific Railway Company, recorded May 15, 1899, in Book 40 page 388 of Deeds; thence South 15° 28' 09�` East 185.16 feet along said Westerly line to the Southerly line of land described in a deed to Herman Henry Bruns and wife, recorded November 18, 1935, in Book 792, page 12 of Official Records; thence South 74° 28 11" West 1148.34 feet along said Southerly line to a line that is parallel with the Westerly line of said Lot 25 and extends Southerly from the point of beginning; thence North 150 31' 49" West 185.16 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM: The Westerly 330.00 feet thereof. now is M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That the proposed alley shall be developed in accordance with Plan 1,000 Studies on file in the Office of the City Engineer; and that dedication of said alley to the City of Anaheim shall be at the option of the developer. 2. That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibits No. 1 through 10. -2- s I,— SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and,after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
