A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM RESCINDING CITY COUNCIL POLICY NO. 5.7
REGARDING PERMIT PARKING
WHEREAS, City Council Policy No. 5.7 establishing procedures for permit
parking was approved by City Council on August 7, 2007, and thereafter was subsequently
amended on May 9, 2009, on January 6, 2015 by Resolution No. 2015-003 and on December 15, ,
2015 by Resolution No. 2015-296; and
WHEREAS, Anaheim Municipal Code Section 14.32.450 establishes policies and
procedures with respect to permit parking; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has amended Anaheim Municipal Code Section
14.32.450 and approved new Residential Permit Parking Guidelines (Guidelines); and
WHEREAS, as a result of the amendments to Anaheim Municipal Code Section
14.32.450 and adoption of the Guidelines, City Council Policy 5.7 is no longer necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to rescind City Council Policy No. 5.7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. City Council Policy No. 5.7 is hereby rescinded, and shall be of no further
force or effect following the adoption of this Resolution.
2. Resolution Nos. 2015-003 and 2015-296 are hereby rescinded in their
entirety.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of March , 2018.
