A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR
CLASSIFICATIONS ASSIGNED TO THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES
ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated March 27, 2018, that the salary schedule and salary relationships be amended for job
classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit,
effective the pay period beginning April 6, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
aforementioned amendment, is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 1.
1. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Citv
of Anaheim that, effective the pay period beginning April 6, 2018, the basic compensation plan
for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the
future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary
schedule:
Classification
Compliance Program Technician
SCBA Maintenance/Repair Specialist
Step Salary
5-9 $31.04 - $37.73
5-9 $20.51 - $24.93
2. That effective the period beginning April 6, 2018, Appendix A and Article
17, Salary Relationships, of the Memorandum of Understanding, between the Anaheim Municipal
Employees Association, General Employees and the City of Anaheim, as amended, is hereby
further amended by deleting the following classification:

3. That effective the pay period begimling April 6, 2018, the basic
compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed
or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be retitled and allocated
to the following salary schedule:

SECTION 2.

Except as amended herein, classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal
Employees Association, General Unit, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The effective date of said amendment to classifications assigned to the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, as amended, is April 6, 2018.
