ORDINANCE N0. 1959
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE ltt_, CHAPTER 14.32, SECTION 14."2.191 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATII4G TO
?ARKING OF VEHICLES ON STREETS OR HIGH1dAYS.
THE -CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 11_x, Chapter14,32, Section 14.32.191 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"SECTION 14.32,191 PARKING OF VEHICLES ON STREETS
RESTRICTED.
"No operator of any vehicle shall park the vehicle
on any street or highway for more than seventy-
two consecutive hours. All police officers of the
City of Anaheim shall be and they are hereby authorized
and empowered to remove or cause to be removed all
vehicles parked, caused to be parked or left parked
upon any street or highway for seventy-two or more
consecutive hours in violation of this section, and
the owner or operator of said vehicle shall be liable
for any reasonable towing and storage charges."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerl shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty.; (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take ef-r ect and be in full force.

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1959 was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim held
on the 17th day of December, 1963, and that the same was duly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the
24th day of December, 1963, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Chandler, Schutt, Krein and Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1959 on the 24th day of
December, 1963.
