ORDINANCE NO. 1935
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. $87 --
Series 1963-64 in Reclassification No. 63-64-25 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 24th day
of September , 19 63 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber n the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-765 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
63R-765 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That portion of the north half of the southwest quarter of
the southeast quarter of Section 17, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as said Section
is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of said southeast
quarter, southerly 296.07 feet from the northwest corner
of said southwest quarter; thence easterly in a direct
line 1322.18 feet to a point on the easterly line of
the said southwest quarter southerly 292.00 feet from the
northeast corner of said southwest quarter; thence
southerly 368.00 feet along. -said easterly line to the
southeast corner of said north half; thence westerly in
a direct line 1321.70 feet to the southwest corner of
said north half; thence northerly 366.00 feet_ to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPT that portion thereof included within Tract No.
3149 as per map recorded in Book 120, page 12 of said
Miscellaneous Maps.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the Cityy Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map',tb-be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby'a`pproved.and
adopted. _
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage-gf.-this= --
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed:bnce Vtttii�'
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim: lift" in,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, publrshed-and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and -after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by

duly passed and adopted.at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 5th -day of November, 1963, by the following vote of the
