A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY Of ANAHEIM VACATING A ROAD AND
UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED AT 125 EAST
COMMERCIAL STREET (ABA No. 2002-00059)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by
resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain
public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the
Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law while
reserving unto the City of Anaheim easements to maintain City
property within said abandoned right of way; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published as prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of March, 2003, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey
right, title and interest to the abandoned property, which is
conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of the road and
public utility easement at 125 East Commercial Street as more
specifically described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of this
resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Orange
County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder upon
the completion of all conditions set forth herein, if any.

Exhibit A
Legal Description
The northerly 13-feet of that certain 45-foot-wide easement granted
by ANAHEIM FOUNDRY, a California corporation, to the CITY OF
ANAHEIM, a municipal corporation, for road and public utility
purposes as shown on an Easement Deed recorded August 21, 1992 as
Instrument No. 92-555115 of Official Records, in the Office of the
County Recorder, County of Orange, California; the southerly line of
said northerly 13-feet being parallel with and 32-feet distant to the
centerline of Commercial Street;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the easterly 6-feet of the above-
described northerly 13-feet.
