A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING
CERTAIN PERSONS TO ACT ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN APPLYING FOR
AND OBTAINING FEDERAL AND/OR STATE
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PERTAINING TO
DISASTERS
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim may have need at some
future date to make application to the United States of America
for certain federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as
amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency
Assistance Act of 1988 and/or state financial assistance under
the Disaster Assistance Act; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to designate
certain persons as agents of the City of Anaheim for the purpose
of making applications for financial assistance and providing
information and assurances to the State Office of Emergency
Services and to the United States of America.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of Anaheim,
a municipal corporation and public entity established under the
laws of the State of California, hereby designates holders of the
following positions as its agents to apply for financial
assistance and to provide to the State Office of Emergency
Services and the United States of America such assurance and
agreements as may be required for all matters pertaining to such
state and federal disaster assistance and to execute such
applications, agreements and related documents for and on behalf
of the City of Anaheim:
City Manager
Finance Director
Assistant Finance Director
Disaster Preparedness Manager
Fire Chief
This Resolution supersedes Resolution No. 98R-77 which
shall be void and of no further effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1st day of April ,
2003.
