ORDINANCE NO. 1914
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 784 --
Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-120 ,
recommen Ing an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 25th day of
June , 19 63 , as the time, and t e Council
Chamber In the City Ham—the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and'did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-558 & 63R-755 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
63R-558& 63R-755 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The West 264 feet of the East 661 feet of the North
half of the -Northwest quarter_ of the Northeast
quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 11
ire&t, in the_Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
upon the following condition.::
That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with Exhibits Nos. 1, 2, and
3,=Revision No. 1, on file with the -City of Anaheim;
provided, however,_ that the four -dwelling unit
immediately to the west of the recreation area shall
be deleted, and that the three -dwelling units to the
north and south of theTrecreation area shall be
increased=to four -dwelling units. _
SECTION 2
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluder _
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated_ -in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and,--__
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City.,--
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning -'MAP
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby`
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to b0 printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

I, DEME M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1914 was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim held on the 17th day of September, 1963, and that the same was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said;City Council
held on the 24th day of September, 1963, by the -following vote of the
members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Chandler, Schutte and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMAN: Krein
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1914 on the 24th
day of September, 1963.
