AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 795 --
Series 1962-63 , in Reclassification No. 62-63-121 ,
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change of
zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein;.and
WHEREAS; said City Planning Commission did make findings,
and a summary of its hearing, and did recommend denial of a change
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 9th day of
July , 19 63 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of Fe City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 63R-586 finding and
determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal—Code should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said resolution(s), certain
conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to
the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California) described as follows,
to wit:
That part of Lot 4 of Anaheim Extension as surveyed
by William Hamel and filed in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, a copy of which is
recorded in took 3, page 163 and following of "Los
Angeles County Maps" in the office of the County Re-
corder, Orange County, California, described as
follows: -
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 4, being
in the center line of Sycamore Street 49.5 feet wide,
thence Southerly along the West line of. Lot 4 and the
East line of North East Street 151.55 feet, thence
North 740 31' 10" -East parallel to the center line of
Sycamore Street, 190.10 feet; thence North 15° 05' 20"
West 151.55 feet to the North line of said Lot 4
being a point in the center line of said Sycamore
Street; thence West along the North line of Lot 4 and
the center line of Sycamore Street,'190.73 feet to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 65 feet.
now is -R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be -changed
to and -incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed substan-=
tially in accordance with plans and specifications
on file with the City of Anaheim, marked "Exhibits
Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4."
2. That the completion of these reclassification pro-
ceedings is contingent upon the granting of Condi-
tional Use Permit No. 428.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional, zoning map -to
be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted. -
SECTION 3. -
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage. of-_. tis
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once witdn`
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim_9tillp-tin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published -and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is proved and signed by me

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1912 was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim
held on the 17th day of September, 1963, and that the same was duly
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on
the 24th day of Septembet, 1963, by the following vote of the members
thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton;Chandler, Schutte and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMAN: Krein
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No.,1912 on the 24th
day df September, 1963.
