Hughes Tom Liegler~ Stadium Manager Alan Watts, Deputy City' Attorney Phil Hanf'~ Anaheim Bulletin ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS Charles Currier APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting of August 19, 1965 were approved° OLD BUSINESS:: Al. am Watts distributed copies of the Stadium Commission Ordinance Amend- ment to the Commissioners present° Chairman Coons stated that further' discussion of rental, rates for the convention center would be:;disCOnt~inued~ Material for a market survey was distri, butedo The meeting was recessed at 12~30 PoMo to reconvene at Dodger Stadium for a tour and survey° After the tour, the group was called to order at 3:55 PoMo and a general discussion concerned the concessions operation at Anaheim Stadium° Commissioner Hughes moved that the Stadium Manager's Office write Automatic Canteen Company to inquire aboat receiving a full set of plans for review by the Stadium Commis- sion° Seconded by Commissioner Glovero MOTION CARRIED. Ir was noted that in the original proposal by Automatic Canteen, the Stadium Commission was to be kept ful. l~ advised of all concessions plans, details~ and general operational procedures. Other' than one conference with Mr° Dewey Dyer~ the Commission has not been aware of the stated expe~ditare of $1 million for concession stands and $500,000~ for club facilitieso Mr~ Liegler was asked to invite representatives of Automatic Canteen Corporation to the next regularly' scheduled meeting of the Stadium Commission~ on Thursday evening~ Septem- ber 16, 1965 at' 7:30 P~Mo for a full review° The Stadium Commission intends to consider general statements of policy by officials of the Automatic Canteen Company on previous occassionso To this extent the Commission asks for a full set of blueprints, specifica- tions, and list of equipment for all stands and clubs° ANAHEIM S%:ADIUM COMMISSION MINUTES -2- September 2, 1965 Stadium Manager, Tom Liegler reported that he has been kept advised of the concessions' plans and operation to date, in a general way, and has a complete set' of concession stand plans on fileo The Stadium Commission was also concerned about absentee representation and hopes that the Automatic Canteen Company will provide a contact to closely coordinate their operation along with the construction and general stadium operational pro- cedures now being effected~ ADJOURNMENT~ Commissioner Knisely moved that the meeting be adjourned at 4:25 PoMo, seconded by Commissioner Hughes° M0%%ON CARRIED.
