Mr~ Coons pointed out a change ia the original presentationo %he original model did ANAHEIM STADIUM COMMISSION MINUTES July 8, 1965 not have a brick masonry .~o'rk stand facia, but rath~ar stainless st:eel~ Mro Dyer stated that they decided to upgrade the stapd'a, appearance by using the brick which creates a warmer feeling and ties in with th~~ ~r~our~.ding area~ Mr~ Liegler pointed out that the Automatic Canteen Company has also employed Mr. Noble Herzberg (architect for the Anahai~ Stadi~m} as their consulting architect° The customer may make a complete purchase at each service-station° Each stand has 4 service areas but can be increased to 6~ Portable units will be avail, able for other areas for various activities and crowd distribution° Mr° Coons asked :~hat is being dena abo~t personnel? Mr~ Dyer stated that his firm will bring in key men in a supervisory capacity, b~t will endeavor to employ as many people as possible from the local labor market° He explained that if there are any inquiries regarding employment to give them his name and address and he will personally acknow- ledge each letter,. About 4 o~ 5 months b~fore opening, they will have a skeleton group on the stadium site at which time they ~oill begin to interview personnel° Prior to opening they will begin training o~ these people~ Mr~ Clover asked where the hard liquor' will be dispensed~ There will be 6 locations outside of the Stadi,am Clu~o Mr~ Dyer explained that each of these will also have a club atmosphere for the benefit of the fan~ that are not members of the Stadium Club. The Stadium Club will be split into 3 zerv'ice a~eas~ One, very plush, fine, high calibre food service~ second, a co¢~ktail !o~ng~ and third, a larger dining room, which will handle 800 people at a single seating~ They are giving some considera- tion to breaking the dieing room down into smaller rooms for private meetings, etco Mr'. Liegler asked the Co~mission's thinkimg on. inviting a guest to their weekly meetings~ The Commissioners agreed that this is an excellent manner of bringing them up to date on the happenings, so that they can intelligently answer the many inquiries they receive° ADJOURNMEN2 Commissioner Glever ~oved that the meeting be adjourned at 3:35 P.M.
