D~'~an Sun,~ay~ September 20~ 1964o Mzro Martin further stated that Mro Hogan w~!l
bacome the National Potentate in 1969 and has the personal choice of the selection
the Shrine Convention in 1970~ Further, 'that Mro Hogan plans to v:isit the
Anaheim area on Wednesday~ September 23, 1964 and Mr. Martin feels it would be
advantageous for the Commission to make the most of this potential prospect by
meeting Mro Hogan and showing him around and giving him facts and figures on what
· ac;l,ties and attractions would be available for the Shriners: 1970 Convention.

Foi'owing discussion of the matter, Chairman Coons requested Mro Martin 'to let
nlm know what Mro Hogan's schedule would be and arrangements would be made for
members of the City Council and Commission to meet with Mr: Hogan next Wednesday
to present to him what Orange County will have to offer for their convent~ono
