ORDINANCE NO. 1897
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 632--
5 rie 62-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-68 31
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as .prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 5th day of
March , 19 63 , as the time, and t e Council
Chamber in the City Ham o -the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and'did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No: (s) 63R-468 finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal -Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set.forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 63R-468
certain conditions and requirements were ade
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries.of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situatedin the City of Anaheim,
41 County of Orange, State of California, described. as follows, to
wit:
PARCEL 1:

Lot A of Tract No. 4030, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 150, pages 48 to 50 inclusive of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of Section 13,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 97 of Tract
No. 4030, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 150,
pages 48 to 50 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California; thence North 00 11' 15"
East 134.89 feet to an angle point in the boundary line
of Tract No. 3706, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
139, pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps records of
Orange County, California; thence South 86� 21' 46"
East 120.22 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot A of
said Tract No. 4030; thence South 0° 11' 15" West
127.37 feet to an angle point in the boundary line of
said Tract No. 4030; thence North 89° 56' S5' West
120.00 feet to the point of beginning;
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE and R-1, ONE -FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated. in
R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporatedin and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and.
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the ).1maheim ;Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said. City, and. thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk cfthe City of Anaheim,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1897 was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim held on the 20th day of August, 1963, and that the same was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 27th day of August, 1963, by the following vote of the
members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Schutte, Krein and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMAN: Dutton
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1897 on the 27th
day of August, 1963..
