• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore, to wit, on April 15, 1963, hold a public
hearing in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to consider a proposed change or changes
in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports
from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings
and summaries of its hearing and did, by motion, refer the matter
of said proposed change of zone or zones to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said report of findings and
summary of evidence from the City Planning Commission, the City
Clerk did fix the 14th day of May, 1963, as the time, and the
Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the
Mace, for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and. change or changes of
zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the report of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution No. 63R-394, finding and determinin- ',"-at
Title 13 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and
that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or zones
should be made as set forth in said resolution; and
11FLiER AS, in accordance with said Resolution No. 63R-394,
certain conditions and -requirements were made as conditions
precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or
zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to coning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
• boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 1£ by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Lots 1 2 and 3 in the E abroad Tract
as recorded in Book 3, Pages 2 and 3 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California;
now is C-2, GENEP-AL-COMMERCIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to
and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall
pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of
X25.00 per dwelling unit, to be used for
park and recreation purposes, said amount
to be paid at the time the building permit
is issued.
2. That adequate areas for trash storage,
accessible to trash -truck pickup, shall be
provided as determined and required by the
Street Maintenance and Sanitation Division
of the Public Works Department, which areas
shall be enclosed by a solid fence or wall
prior to final building inspection.
3. That the owners of subject property shall
pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00
per front foot, along Center and Cherry
Streets, for street lighting purposes,
said amount to be paid prior to final
building inspection.
4. That the sidewalks and curbs along Center
and Cherry Streets shall be repaired as
required by the City Engineer and in
accordance with standard plans and specifi-
cations on file in the Office of the City
Engineer, and that said repairs shall be
made prior to final building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
• ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,

a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
• circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1896 was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim held on the 13th day of August, 1963, and that the same was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 20th day of August, 1963, by the following vote of
the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Schutte, Krein and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMAN: Dutton
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1896 on the
20th day of August, 1963.
