1888• • ORDINANCE N0. 1888 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT- ING TO ZONING THE CITY CO MN IL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the pity Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 672 -- Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-84 , reco e`­n- g an amendment of Title 18 of the An eim Mun cepa Code and a. change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon ,in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and 'WHEREAS, sa.i,d City Planning Commission did make find- ings &nd summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of finding 3 , summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 9th—day of April 19 63 9 as the time, and t e� C®unc MimEer i he City Ha`o the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public, hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 1.8 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and IWAHKHAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear- ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there- upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-284 e finding and determining that Title 18 of the An eim Municipal Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu- tion(s); esolu- tion(s)a and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 63R-284 certain conditions and requirements were as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS - SECTION to That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows- - 1 - 62-63-84 That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: PARCEL NO. 1: The Southerly 200 feet, measured along the Easterly line, of that portion of Lots 9 and 10 of the Miles Rancho, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, page 7, Mis- cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of the unnamed road shown on said map adjoining said Lots 9 and 10 on the North and known as Romneya Drive, distant thereon South 890 43' 20" West 328.98 feet from the intersection of said center line with the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of said Lot 10, said point of beginning being the intersection of said center line with the Easterly line or the Northerly prolongation thereof, of the tract of land, described in the deed dated July 10, 1942, executed by Bank of America National Trust and Savings Association, in favor of David Corderman and wife and recorded in Book 1156, page 18, Official Records; thence South 0° 24' 00" East along said Easterly line of the Corderman tract of -land, 438 feet; thence South 890 43' 20" West parallel with said center line of Romneya Drive, 363.28 feet to the center line of the unnamed road shown on said map adjoining said Lots 9 and 10 on the West and known as West Street; thence North 0° 29' 10" West, along said center line of West Street, 438 feet to said center line of Romneya Drive; thence North 89° 43' 20t° East along said center line of Romneya Drive, 363.94 feet to the point of beginning. PARCEL N0. 2: The Southerly 220 feet, measured along the Easterly line of that portion of Lots 9 and 10 of the Miles Rancho, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, page 7, Mis- cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of the unnamed road shown on said map adjoining said Lots 9 and 10 on the North and known as Romneya Drive, distant thereon South 890 43' 20" West 328.98 feet from the intersection of said center line with the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of said Lot 10, said point of beginning being the intersection of said center line with the Easterly line or the Northerly prolongation thereof, of the tract of land described in the deed dated July 10, 1942, executed by Bank of America National Trust and Savings Association in favor of David Corderman and wife and recorded in Book 1156, page 18, Official Records; thence South 0° 24' 00" East along said Easterly line of the Corderman tract of.land, 658 feet; thence South 890 43' 20" West parallel with said center line of Romneya Drive, 362.95 feet to the center line of the unnamed road shown on said map adjoining said Lots 9 and 10 on the West and known as West Street; thence North 0° 29' 10" West along said center line of West Street, 658 feet • to said center line of Romneya Drive; thence North 890 43' 20" East along said center line of Romneya Drive, 363.94 feet to the point of beginning. - 2 - PARCEL NO. 3: That portion of Lots 9 and 10 of the Miles Rancho in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Califor- nia, as per map recorded. in Book 4, Page 7, of Miscel- laneous Maps, Records of said County of Orange, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point which is on a line parallel with and 328.98 feet Westerly of the East line of said Lot 10 South 000 28' 59" East 239.00 feet from. the North line of said Lot 9, also being on a curve concave Southwest- erly whose radius is 230.00 feet and whose tangent bears North 89 38' 46" East; thence Easterly and Southeast- erly 64.23 feet along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 16° 00' 00"; thence tangent to said curve South 74° 21' 14" East 63.53 feet to a tangent curve concave Northeasterly whose radius is 170.00 feet; thence Southeasterly 47.36 feet along the arc of said curve through an an§le of 160 07' 45f?; thence tangent to said curve North 89 31' 01" East 3.03 feet to the South- west corner of Lot 16, Tract No. 2820 as per map recorded in Book 95, Pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said County of Orange; -thence along the Westerly line of said Tract 2820 South 000 28' 59" East 386.00 feet; thence on a line parallel with the North line of said Lots 9 and 10 of the Miles Rancho South 89° 38' 46" West 174.66 feet; thence parallel to the East line of said Lot 10 and of the said Westerly line of Tract 2820 North 0° 28' 59" West 419.00 feet to the point of beginning; now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following, conditions: 1. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recrea- tion purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issued. 2. That adequate areas for trash storage, access- ible to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as determined and required by the Street Main- tenance and Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department, which areas shall be enclosed by a solid fence or wall prior to final build- ina, inspection. 3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as re- quired and determined necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department, and that said. fire hydrants shall be installed prior to final building, inspection. 4. That subject property shall be developed substan- tially in accordance with plans marked "Exhibits Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6," on file with the City of Anaheim. - 3 - t 5. That the rear and side walls of the proposed carports shall be stuccoed; that enclosed storage cabinets shall be provided at the rear wall of each carport; that adequate bumper guards shall be provided to protect the in- terior`walls of the proposed carports; and that all of said items shall have been completed or complied with prior to final building inspection. 6. That the Anaheim Union Water Company's irriga- tion line, located in a portion of subject pro- perty, shall be relocated to the satisfaction of the Anaheim Union Water Company and the City Engineer, prior to the issuance of a building permit. SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engi- neer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force. CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1888 on the 6th day of August, 1963.
