ORDINANCE NO. 1874
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 778 --
Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-115
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as .prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 25th day of
June , 19 63 , as the time, and t e Council
Chamber in the City Ham -the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and'did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-552 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim MunicipaT Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set.forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 63R-552
, certain conditions and requirements were ade
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
Lot No. 28 of Tract No. 2114 as shown on a map
recorded in Book 108, page 43 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwell -
int unit, to be used for park and recreation pur-
poses, said amount to be paid at the time the
building permit is issued.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with standard plans on file in the
Office of the Director of Public Works and
Superintendent of Streets, prior to final build-
ing inspection.
3. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans and speci-
fications on file with the City of Anaheim,
marked "Exhibit No. 1," as amended.
4. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the north property line abutting the R-1,
One -Family Residential Zone property, EXCEPT
that said wall shall be reduced to 42 inches in
height, commencing at the front yard building
setback line and extending easterly along said
north property line; and that said wall shall be
constructed prior to final building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby. adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within-
fifteen
ithinfifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
10, THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1874 was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim held on the 9th day of July, 1963, and that the same was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 16th day of -July, 1963, by the following vote of the
members thereof: z-
