ORDINANCE NO. 1870
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 541 --
Series 1262-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-29
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal.
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as .prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 2nd day of
Januar , 19 63 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber in the City Halms -the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and'did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-84 finding
and determining that Title 18 of the An eim MunicipaL Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s);

WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
63R-84 , certain conditions and requirements were male
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the prop-
erty hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title'18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
• to wit:
Lot 98 of Tract No. 1565 in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown
on a map recorded in Book No. 371 Page No. 20 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as deter-
mined and required by the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Division of the Public Works Depart-
ment, which areas shall be enclosed with a solid
fence or wall prior to final building inspection
of any proposed alteration of existing residences
and/or any new construction.
2. That outdoor storage of any materials shall be
prohibited unless contained within an enclosed
trash storage area.
3. Following removal of the required restrictions
on subject property, and prior to final building
inspection of any new construction thereon,
provisions shall be made for concrete paving
and the installation of 5 x 5 ft. tree wells,
spaced at 40 -foot intervals in the parkway
portion of the State College Boulevard and
Broadway rights of way abutting subject property,
said landscaping to be subject to the approval
of the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance.
A landscaped strip of a minimum width of six
feet shall also be provided parallel to the
State College Boulevard and Broadway rights of
way abutting subject property, which strip
shall be landscaped and said landscaping
approved prior to final building inspection of
any new construction on said property.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated
in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth,
and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning
map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes
hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,

a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
