1868• • ORDINANCE NO. 1868 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT- ING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 453 -- Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-2 , recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as .prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find- ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 25th day of Se tember , 19 62 , as the time, and the Council C am er in the City Ham of—the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear- ing and did,give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and'did receive evidence and reports, and did there- upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 62R-969 & 62R-10,_finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set.forth in said resolu- tion(s); and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 62R- 66�_ and 62R-1073 , certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the prop- erty hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows: - 1 - 62-63-2 That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, • to wit: That portion of Section 4, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West line of Lot 10 of Miles Rancho, as per map thereof, recorded in Book 4, page 7, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, said point being located 574.94 feet North 00 10' 00" West from the Southwest corner of said Lot 10, said Southwest corner being the inter- section of the center lines of roads, as shown on a Licensed Surveyor's map filed in Book 1, at page 55, of Record of Surveys, and running thence South 00 10' 00" East 57 feet along the Westerly line of said Lot 10, said line being the center line of a road as shown on said Licensed Surveyor's map filed in Book 1, page 55, of Record of Surveys; thence Westerly, parallel with the South line of the land conveyed to Joseph Packer and wife by deed filed May 26, 1948, as Document No. 16554, in the office of the Registrar of Titles of said Orange County 160 feet; thence North 00 10' 00" West parallel with said Westerly line of Lot 10, 57 feet to the South line of said land conveyed to Joseph Packer and wife; thence Easterly along said South line 160 feet to the point of beginning. now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issued. 2. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as determined and required by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department, which areas shall be enclosed with a solid fence or wall prior to final building inspection. 3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department. 4. That the access drives shall be a minimum width of 21 feet, with adequate angle cut-offs provided, • or a minimum width of 28 feet if no cut-offs are provided. -2- �J • 5. That subject property shall be developed sub- stantially in accordance with plans applicable__ to said property on file with the City of Anaheim, marked "Exhibits Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5" (subject property being the area described as Parcel No. 2 in Resolution No. 62R-969). 6. That plans for any building proposed to be constructed on subject property shall be approved by the Architectural Control Committee. 7. That the interior walls of the proposed carports shall be stuccoed; that enclosed storage cabinets shall be installed along the rear wall of each carport; and that suitable bumper guards shall be installed to protect the interior walls of the proposed carports, all of which shall be done prior to final building inspection. SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
