ORDINANCE NO , 1862
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 590 --
Series 1962-63- Reclassification No. 62-63-46 ,
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the An eim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones herelnAfter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS,, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 13th day of
February �s, 19 63 , as the time, and t e Council
C am er :"t ----e City F -a the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public, hearing upon said proposed amendment to `title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did gave notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 1.8 of the Anaheim Minicipal Code; and
IERSAS, at the time .and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all parsons interested therein an opportunity
to '6e heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the reco=endation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-124, finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s)

WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 63R-124
certain conditions and requirements were madee
as con its.®ns precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CI'T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
The North half of the Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 2, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West;
. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East 460 feet;
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit,
to be used for park and recreation purposes, said
amount to be paid at the time the building permit is
issued.
2. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to
trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as determined
and required by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation
Division of the Public Works Department, which areas
shall be enclosed by a solid fence or wall prior to
final building inspection.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department of the City of Anaheim, prior to final
building inspection.
4. That the access drives shall be a minimum width of
21 feet, with adequate angle cut-offs, or a minimum
width of 28 feet if no cut-offs are provided; and,
in all cases, said drives shall have a minimum
vertical clearance of 14 feet.
5. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans marked "Exhibit Nos.
1 and 2" on file with the City of Anaheim.
6. That the interior walls of the proposed carports
shall be stuccoed; that enclosed storage cabinets
shall be provided along the rear wall of each carport;
and that adequate bumper guards shall be provided to
protect the interior walls of said carports, all of
which shall be completed prior to final building in-
spection.
7. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the west and east boundaries of subject property prior
to final building inspection; and that a 6 -foot
masonry wall, or carports, shall be constructed along
the south boundary of said property prior to final
building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated. in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoningmap to
be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes herey
approved and adopted.

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
is ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a. newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said. City, and thirty (30) gays from and after
its final passage it shall take effect anbe in full force.
