ORDINANCE NO, 1858
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM bVINICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS,, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 599 --
Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-56

Code and a cha_nge or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WH,EREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 19th I day of

a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 1.8 of the Anaheim Manicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution 'Cs) No. (s) 63R-144 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the 'A�n&e`im Municlp=aCode
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 63R-144
- , certain conditions and requirements w-e-re--im-a-de-
as con itions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW., THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows-,

That all of the area situated in the City of .Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
Lot 8 of the Anaheim Homestead Tract, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 26, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Records, in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California.
10, Except that portion thereof lying Southwesterly of
the Northeasterly line of the land described as
Parcel 5 in the deed to the State of California,
recorded October 21, 1955 in Book 3253, page 442,
Official Records;
now is R-0, ONE -FAMILY SUBURBAN ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling
unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes,
said amount to be paid at the time the building
permit is issued.
2. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as deter-
mined and required by the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department,
which areas shall be enclosed by a solid fence or
wall prior to final building inspection.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of
the Fire Department, and that said hydrants shall
be installed prior to final building inspection.
4. That a modified cul-de-sac shall be provided at
the terminus of Beverly Drive as required by the
City Engineer.
5. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans marked "Exhibit
No. l," as amended herein, on file with.the City
of Anaheim.
6. That the interior walls of the proposed carports
shall be stuccoed; that enclosed storage cabinets
shall be provided along the rear wall of each car-
port; that adequate auto bumper guards shall be
provided to protect the interior walls of the
proposed carports; and that all of said items
shall be completed prior to final building inspec-
tion.
7. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the north and east boundaries of subject
property.
S. That the proposed structures shall be relocated in
order to provide guest parking spaces on the south-
ern edge of the proposed turn -around area.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said

City Zoning Map as amended i s hereby adopted and. the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of June 1963.
