ORDINANCE NO. 1846
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MJNYICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL SOF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FINED
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.85 6--
eS.. 1962 -b3 in, Reclassification No. 62-63-52 ,
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the--An-3EHm Municipal—
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
W.KEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
finding, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix. the 5th day of
Feb_ruar 19 63 , as the time, and tMe Council
nam er in e City" Haof-ihe City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim. Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 1.8 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
VAEllEASS, at the time and place fired for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did, give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and dial adopt Resolution 'Cs) No. (s) 63R-102 , finding
aril determining that Title 18 of the An eim ltiunicipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s)

WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 63R-102
certain conditions and requirements weremace
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows-,

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wits
Lot 7 of Tract No. 495, Berger's Half Acres, in
the County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 19, Page 24 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California;
now is R -A I -RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-2, GENERAL -COM RCIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as deter-
mined and required by the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Division ,Qf the _Public Works Depart-
ment, which areas shall be enclosed by a solid
fence or wall prior to final building inspection.
2. That subject property shall_ be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans marked "Exhibit
No. 1' on file with the City of Anaheim.
3. That tree wells shall be installed at 40 -foot
intervals in the parkway portion of Katella
Avenue; ,;that plans for said landscaping shall be
submitted to and approved by the Superintendent
of Parkway Maintenance; and that said landscaping
shall be installed prior to final building inspec-
tion.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and -the property above described shall be excluded -from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to
be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within.
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of May . 1963 .

duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim held on the 30th day of April, 1963, and that the same was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 7th day of May, 1963, by the following vote- of the
members thereof:

NOES. COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1846 on the 7th
day of May, 1963.
