ORDINANCE NO. 1821
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1786 IN RECLASSIFICATION PRO-
CEEDINGS NO. 61-62-120.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on December 11, 1962, adopt Ordinance No. 1786 in Reclassifica-
tion Proceedings No. 61-62-120 amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code relating, to zoning, and changing the property
therein described from R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to C-1,
NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, subject to certain conditions set
forth in said ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 3 of said ordinance reads as
follows:
"3. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the west side of the alley abutting subject property
on the west prior to final building inspection, unless
waived by the owner of the property lying west of and
abutting said alley."
AND WHEREAS, the owners of subject property have re-
quested that Condition No. 3 of Ordinance No. 1786 be deleted
because of the difficulties involved in installing a wall on
property of multiple ownership; and
WHEREAS, after a careful consideration of the matter,
the City Council does find that said Condition No. 3 should be
deleted from said ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 1786, adopted. December 11, 1962, in
Reclassification Proceedings No. 61-62-120,=be and the same is
hereby amended by deleting therefrom Condition No. 3.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of March. 1963.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1821 was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim held on the 26th day of February, 1963, and that the same was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 5th day of March, 1963, by the following vote of the
members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Chandler, Schutte, Krein and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1821 on the 5th
day of March, 1963.
