1818ORDINANCE NO. 1818
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 491 --
Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-24 ,
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as .prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 9th day of
October , 19 62 , as the time, and t e Council
Chamber in the City Ham—the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and'did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the Citp Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 62R-888 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the An eim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
62R-888 , certain conditions and requirements weremace
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL 1:
That portion of the southeast quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 20, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
partly in the Rancho Los Coyotes and partly in the
Rancho Las Bolsas, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as said southeast quarter
is shown on a map of Tract 2722, recorded in book 74
pages 27, 28 and 29, Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the county recorder of said county, described as
follows:
.Beginning at the southeast corner of Section 20; thence
North 0° 55' 00" East 1135.46 feet along the east line
thereof to the true point of beginning; thence
North 890 05' 00" West 150.00 feet to the southeast
corner of Lot 39 of said tract; thence
North 00 55' 00" East 91.14 feet along the east line
of said lot; thence South 89° 22' 57" East 150.00 feet
to the east line of said section 20; thence
South 0° 55' 00" West 91.93 feet to the true point of
beginning.
EXCEPT the East 50.00 feet thereof.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 20, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
partly in the Rancho Los Coyotes and partly in the
Rancho Las Bolsas, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as per Map recorded in
book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Section 20;
thence North 0° 55' 00" East 1227.38 feet along the
East line of said Section to the true point of
beginning; thence North 890 22' 57" West 150.00 feet;
thence North 0° 55' 00" East 92.00 feet parallel with
the East line of said Section 20; thence
South 890 22' 57" East 150 feet to said East line;
thence South 00 55' 00" West 92.00 feet to the true
point of beginning;
EXCEPT the East 50.00 feet for street purposes.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as
determined and required by the Street Maintenance
and Sanitation Division of the Public Works
Department, which areas shall be enclosed by a
solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.

2. That subject property shall be developed
substantially in accordance with plans marked
"Exhibits 1 and 2" on file with the City of
Anaheim.
3. That a landscaped strip of a minimum width of
six feet shall be installed and maintained
abutting the planned highway right of way line
of Euclid Street, together with tree wells in
the parkway along the Euclid Street right of
way. That plans for said landscaping shall be
submitted to and approved by the Superintendent
of Parkway Maintenance; and that said landscaping
shall be installed prior to final building
inspection.
4. That a six-foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the west and south boundaries of subject
property prior to final building inspection.
5. That all flags and banners shall be removed from
subject property. -
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
