ORDINANCE NO. 1817
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 568 --
Se ies -63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-37 ,
recommending an aendm- ent of Title 18 of the An eim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
VHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 5th day of
Februar , 19 63 , as the time, and t enCouncil

a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and d.id give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 1.8 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fired for said public
hearing, the: City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and died give: all parsons interested) therein an opportunity
to be heard and, did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution Vis) No. (s) 63R-99 , finding
ani determining that Title 18 of the 7EMeim Municl-pa*f Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s) a and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
certain conditions and requirements were mica e
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional. Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows-.

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
Lot No. 17 of Tract No. 2176 as shown on a map
recorded in Book No. 128, Page 54 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
now is R-1, ONE -:FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That sidewalks and driveways shall be installed
on Euclid Street and Sumac Lane as required by
the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office
of the City Engineer; and that said sidewalks and
driveways shall be installed prior to final
building inspection.
2. That the existing driveway depressed curbs and
gutters shall be removed and replaced with a
standard type curb and gutter as required by the
City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office
of the City Engineer; and that said removal and
replacement shall be completed prior to final
building inspection.
3. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as
determined and required by the Street Maintenance
and Sanitation Division of the Public Works
Department, which areas shall be enclosed with a
solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.
4. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans on file with
the City of Anaheim, marked 10Exhibits Nos. 1, 2
and 3."
5. That a 3-1/2 foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the west property line of subject property,
extending from the existing wall southerly to the
front property line, and that said wall shall be
constructed prior to final building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,

a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
